Augmenix Heads to ASTRO 2018!

Request More Information

Our team is excited to head down to San Antonio, Texas for the 60th Annual American Society for Radiation Oncology (ASTRO) Meeting this October 21-24th! The ASTRO meeting has always been a great opportunity to join together with the best and the brightest in the radiation oncology community, and with over 11,000 attendees each year the meeting serves as the ideal platform to exchange ideas with leading clinicians and researchers.

The technology and methodology used in radiation oncology is constantly evolving, and ASTRO’s Annual Meeting always puts a spotlight on new scientific discoveries that could translate into improvements in physician performance and patient outcomes. Augmenix is dedicated to leading innovation in our field – and we’re excited to share our technology and clinical research in prostate radiotherapy.

This year, we’re thankful to have Michael J. Zelefsky, MD, Brian J. Davis, MD, PhD, Marcio Fagundes, MD, and Steven J. Frank, MD share their insights on the impact of prostate hydrogel spacing on prostate radiotherapy at the Industry Expert Theater — This is a much-anticipated event and registration will be on site so be sure to show up early. We’ll also have our lifelike procedural simulators at our booth for visitors to test out the SpaceOAR procedure, a fantastic way for clinicians to get introduced to our technology.

Snap a Pic & Change Lives!

To top off the exciting week ahead, Augmenix is proud to announce that when you stop by our booth and have your photo taken, we’ll be making a donation to two great causes: The Radiation Oncology Institute (ROI) and Veterans Prostate Cancer Awareness. We are committed to improving the lives of those undergoing radiation treatment for prostate cancer, and these organizations provide the educational resources, support services and advocacy needed to do so.

If you’ll be in attendance, be sure to stop by Booth #3133 to say hi to our team. Learn more about our presence at ASTRO on our Events page, and learn more about the ASTRO Meeting here!

See you in San Antonio!
