Dr. Daugherty received his medical degree in 2007 from University of Utah School of Medicine. He completed a residency in Radiation Oncology at the Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia.
Dr. Daugherty has held an assistant professorship at the Mayo Clinic. He is also the co-founder of Radiating Hope International, an organization that works on building cancer facilities in developing countries.
Dr. Daugherty is an adventuring oncologist. In honor of his patients, he has carried Tibetan prayer flags on mountains around the world, including Everest, Denali, Kilimanjaro, Elbrus, Aconcagua, and more. He has also carried these flags on three Iditarod Trail races.
