Board-certified in radiation oncology, Matthew Manning, MD, is Cone Health’s radiation oncology and stereotactic radiosurgery medical director. His professional areas of interest include bladder, brain and spine, melanoma, prostate and thoracic cancers.
His research on high-tech therapies, including stereotactic radiosurgery and brachytherapy, has helped elevate Cone Health’s cutting edge clinical care at national meetings. In recent years, he has been published in the Journal of Applied Clinical Medical Physics and International Radiation Oncology Biology and Physics. In 2016, he received the Association of Community Cancer Centers’ Innovator Award.
Married with three children, he enjoys live music, going to the gym and traveling.
