Dr. Michele Albert serves as the Associate Chief of Radiation Oncology and the Medical Director of the High Dose Rate Radiation Therapy Program at Saint Anne’s Hospital. Dr. Albert is particularly interested in Brachytherapy; including high dose radiation to skin cancer, genitourinary cancers (prostate) and gynecology.
After graduating from medical school at the University of Sherbrooke in Sherbrooke, Quebec, Canada, Dr. Albert completed Residency both at the Hôtel Dieu, University of Laval Quebec, QC, Canada and as a Visiting Resident in Radiation Oncology, Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston, MA. From there Dr. Albert successfully completed two Fellowship programs: Advanced Image-guided Therapies in Genitourinary Cancer at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital,Harvard Medical School, Boston, MA and General Brachytherapy: Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School, Boston, MA.
Dr. Albert speaks French and English and serves as a part-time Instructor of Radiation Oncology at Harvard Medical School, Boston, MA.
