The physicians and the UMN – Radiation Oncology Department combine their comprehensive knowledge and skills with an interdisciplinary team approach to planning and providing care appropriate for each patient. This very precise treatment planning is designed to deliver optimum radiation to tumors and to spare surrounding tissue.
Once planning is completed, very sophisticated technology is marshaled to provide patients with appropriate and highly accurate radiation therapy. At the Department of Radiation Oncology we offer a range of technology not offered anywhere else in Minneapolis–St. Paul.
